The service starts with a personal consultation. We'll spend a little time together talking about the kinds of meals that you enjoy eating. Would you like to be a bit more health conscious? Are you trying to avoid carbs after midday? Do you have a fussy eater at home? We’ll discuss any potential allergies, aversions, and dislikes but more importantly, we’ll talk about the food that makes you smile. We’ll chat about whether you prefer your soups chunky or smooth or your chilli fiery or mild. We’ll work out what kind of service you require. Do you need evening meals that are quick to get on the table after a busy day, or would you rather sit down each night to an indulgent dinner a deux. Perhaps you’d like something cooked especially for a dinner party that you’re planning over the weekend, or a cake to accompany your mid-morning coffee. Lastly, we’ll agree a date for The Little Cooking Company to get to work!

Once a cook date has been agreed, a menu plan will be sent to you for your approval.

On the morning of the cook date, I will start the day by shopping at the local butcher, green grocer and supermarket for the freshest, seasonal ingredients. Once in the kitchen, I will unpack my arsenal of cooking equipment and store cupboard ingredients before spending between 3-5 hours preparing and cooking the dishes that we have agreed upon.

The meals will be finished and cooled properly, and then stored in re-usable containers in your refrigerator. Each dish will be clearly labelled with simple reheating instructions. Lastly, I will clean your kitchen and leave it sparkling.

When you walk in the door, the only evidence of my presence will be a fridge full of delicious food, a spotlessly clean kitchen and a faint aroma of what's for dinner.
